There will be a $5 entry fee. Prizes to be announced. Tournament will start around 4pm but get there early to register, and possibly to get seeded. The platform for this tournament will be PS2. Players are encouraged to bring their own guitars, but I will have 2 there just in case.

WHAT: GUITAR HERO II TOURNAMENT!!
DATE: December 8, 2007
TIME: Beginning at 11:00 a.m. until finished
LOCATION: Grace Place (Skate Church) Gym, 1603 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, OK

PARTICIPANTS: 6th through 12th grade students (from anywhere!)

ENTRY FEE: $10.00 for pre-registration; $12.00 after December 5 up to day of competition We will accept a maximum of 32 entries in each skill level: Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Pre-Register (see below) or Register at the Door from 9 am to 10 am on December 8, 2007. Competition will begin at 11:00 a.m.

ADMISSION: $1.00 for spectators — If You Don’t Wanna Play, Come Out And Support Your Local Guitar Hero!!! PRIZES: Expert and Hard Level Champions will receive Guitar Hero III for PS2!!! Easy and Medium Champions and 2nd place finishers (all skill levels) will receive Best Buy gift cards

FORMAT: Single Elimination; All Songs Played on Pro Face-Off Mode

This will be our first ever Guitar Hero 3 Tournament - only a few days after its release. We will have every song for competition unlocked by that time.

At 12 PM on Saturday November 3rd 2007 we will have open registration. There will be no max on competitors, and at 2:00 PM the registration will close.

First round - Seeding round. This will be one song that everyone will play on MEDIUM. The scores will be taken and that will show where you are seeded for this tournament.

Second round - the mode setting will be changed HARD. Competition will be based on one song chosen by the judge winner take all.

Third round - the mode setting will stay on HARD. Competition from this point will be based on composite score over 2 songs. Each player will pick one song. This format will continue until the finals.

Final Round - To Determine First and Second place - the final round will have 3 songs - chosen by the judge, winner will be based on composite score.

Entry Fee - $5.00

Prizes – Each of the top 3 players will get choices as follows:

First Place – Cash based on the number of participants; or an Adventure Games Prize Pack; which includes prizes from our sponsors listed below.

Second Place – Cash Based on the number of participants; or an Adventure Games Prize Pack.

Third Place – Adventure Games Prize Pack.

The tournament will be played in the console theater, in Bose Surround Sound, on an 85 Sq. Ft. Projection screen. This is the biggest and the best console gaming experience in the Northeast United States, and there is nothing else like it.
