Attendees will watch the tourney on the big screen behind you while you play to the audience (viewing a smaller screen) live on the stage in The Five One’s venue here at ULX . Register before Sept 7 and get 4 free hours of practice time and a tournament t-shirt!

Tournament Rules:

1. A song is picked by a player (determined by coin flip) and played via face-off by both players on the difficulty level most appropriate for each players ability (pro face-off will be used for equal skilled players). If you are found to be playing on a lower difficulty than your talents merit, you will be disqualified. The player with the highest point total at the end of the face-off is the winner of the first leg. Each player changes guitars / sides.

2. The other participant then selects a song and both players play as above. The player with the highest point total is the winner of the second leg.

3. If either player wins both face-offs then the round is over. If each player wins one leg, then the tournament officials will select a tiebreak song and the player with the highest overall point total at the end of that song is the winner of the bracket.

If any player leaves or misses their assigned match, the match is then forfeited.

Tournament officials will unlock all songs/features before play and disconnect from XBOX Live. No other codes may not be used by any players during competition and ‘Freebird’ can only be used in the championship rounds (the final 10 brackets).Tournament seeding will be determined at random by the tournament organizers after registration has closed. Guitar controllers are available for use at the tournament. Abuse of any of the equipment and/or cheating of any kind will result in your disqualification from the Tournament without refund.

The Point of this Tournament is to have FUN and yes, to possibly win some cash! Any participants or spectator causing problems may be disqualified and asked to leave. Top bracket winner receives the $500 cash prize - other prizes will be awarded for various other scores, play styles, etc. at the discretion of the tournament organizers and/or judges.
