Ok Shred Heads it’s time to show off your Fret Skillz!

Check out the First Annual Music Station Guitar Hero II Tournament.

Entrance Fee: $10
Registration: Limited to the first 40 contestants - so sign up early. Register at the Music Station July 18th through July 28th (11:00 a.m. deadline on the 28th).

Winners will be posted here along with pictures from the tournament and high scores. Name in lights…all the fame you can handle.

Prizes sponsored by RedOctane, Hero Gear and Music Station with a Grand Prize, Second Place, Raffles for contestants and of course prizes for Best Performance (despite the fact that you suck at the game), Best in Show (mullets, spikes, spandex, leather, ripped jeans, impersonations, whatever floats your boat…no masks).

Game Rules:

* PS2 Medium/Hard.
* The contest will be a bracketed, single-round elimination tournament.
* First round competitors choose med/hard, second round play on hard until down to the final two. Competitors may choose to play on expert if they want.
* Competitors will be given a number and two numbers will be randomly drawn in categories of med vs med & hard vs hard for first round.
* Competitors will play randomly drawn songs from the GH II songlist.
* Winner of each round will progress to the next bracket.
* Two finalists will compete with best two out of three in expert mode.
* High score wins! In the event of a tie then highest percentage, and if needed…note streak.
* Bring your own guitar if you want!
* Spectators welcome!!!
