Rules:
1 vs 1 Single elimination (Best 2 out of 3)
All songs to be picked by game organizers.
Tournament seeding will be determined at random by the tournament organizers after registration has closed.
32 person Field
1st elimination process will be have a game difficulty of Medium, 2nd elimination round will be Hard, 3rd elimination round will be Expert until we have a 1st and 2nd place winner.
High Score Wins. Tie scores will be decided by Highest percentage. And if needed, Note Streak.
All scores final.
Prizes: We will be awarding OFFICIAL RedOctane prizes to contestants as well as Stonzek movie theatre passes. We will also be awarding tickets for the Lake Worth Playhouse production of “The Rocky Horror Show”.
The Lake Worth Playhouse recognizes the standards established by the Entertainment Software
Rating Board for videogames. In observation of these standards, the Guitar Hero
tournament is restricted to competitors 13 years of age or older. A competitor must
be 13 years of age or older by the first day of an event to be eligible to compete in
the Guitar Hero Tournament.
Players are strongly encouraged to bring personal guitar controllers from home.
Guitar controllers will be available for those who are unable to provide their own.
Modifications that alter the FUNCTIONALITY of the guitar (such as button springs or kill switches) are not allowed.
