First Round Begins at 6:45

Registration Fee: $10.00

Registration Fee includes entrance into the Guitar Hero 2 Tournament, a free pass to see a movie at Screenland (not valid for Spinal Tap), Discounted ticket to see This Is Spinal Tap later that night at Screenland.

Rules: Field is limited to 32 contestants. All contestants must register with Screenland no later than Tuesday, May 29th.

This tournament will be played using the standard retail version of Guitar Hero 2 for the Xbox 360. You are allowed to bring your own guitar to use but make sure that it is for the Xbox 360 version of the game or it WILL NOT WORK.

1st Round: All entrants will play “Tonight I’m Gonna Rock You Tonight ” in the first round. This will not be a head to head round with the person you are playing with. Your score for the song will be ranked against all the other contestants and the top 16 scores from this round will advance to the single elimination rounds.

2nd Round: The remaining 16 contestants will be seeded 1-8 in one bracket and 1-8 in a second bracket based on their scores from the previous round. The higher seed in each match up will pick from a list of songs pre-chosen by Screenland Staff. These songs will all be 5 minutes or under. Winners of the head to head match ups move on.

3rd Round: The higher seed in each match up will pick from a list of songs pre-chosen by Screenland Staff. These songs will all be 5 minutes or under. Winners of the head to head match ups move on.

Final Four: Songs for the Final Four will be selected at random out of a hat. They will be chosen from the following:

Misirlou
Crazy On You

Final Match: The final match will be the best 2 out of 3 songs. Each contestant will pick which song they want to play (NO FREEBIRD!). In the event of a tie Screenland Staff will pick the tie-breaking song (MAYBE FREEBIRD!).

Your $10.00 application fee MUST be paid before Tuesday, May 29th. You can do so with a credit card over the phone or in person with a credit card or cash.

Prizes: We will be giving away OFFICIAL RedOctane prizes to contestants as well as Screenland Movie Theatre Passes and Prizes. Each and every contestant will receive a free pass to see a movie at the Screenland Theatre (not for use at This Is Spinal Tap that night).

Grand Prize: A Year Long Pass To All Screenland Theatres, Official RedOctane Prizes and a Official Grindhouse Movie Poster.

Second Place: Official RedOctane Prizes and Official Grindhouse Movie Poster.
