“The Camarojuana Guitar Hero Warz”
Welcome to the first annual Guitar Hero Warz @ The Dover Brickhouse. They are being held on the FIRST Saturday of Feb, March, and April… and then the FINALZ will be held in May.
Preliminaries – Feb. 3rd Mar. 3rd April 7th and Finalz on May 5th
It is being broken down into 2 categories… Easy/Medium and Hard/Expert. There are NO advance sign ups, sign up when you arrive. The sign up sheet will include a spot for your name, age, and category you want to compete in. You do not need to put a song you want to perform. Songs will be chosen at random from a song pool from the Guitar Hero II game. Only if you make it to the FINALZ will you get to choose the song you want? Then, while everyone is signing up, Camarojuana will perform for a 1 hour set (till 5:30PM). Once the performance is over, we will then take all the names and group them into their proper categories and create a tournament bracket for each category. We ask for your AGE to be fair in the pairings of the first round. Age will not matter after that.
Winners will be determined by High Score ONLY! High Score wins. In the event of a tie, we will then go to highest percentage, and then if needed… note streak. So, bring you’re “A” game. Songs will be chosen at random out of a hat. Once the pairings are completed, we will immediately pick the song for each pair and announce it before you perform. We encourage you to bring any props you want… your own guitar, Mullets, Spiked arm bands, etc. Whatever makes you shred!
Prizes will be awarded to everyone that makes it to the finalz! The GRAND PRIZE winners will receive a Red Octane White Wireless Guitar! All finalists will receive a T-shirt from Camarojuana and from GHOUL (Red Octane) and whatever other cool little things we want to throw at you!
But, nothing beats the bragging rights! This contest will also be posted on the Guitar Hero Website, and winners of each round will be posted along with your score! Name in lights!!! Isn’t it what it’s all about anyway!
This is something we hope you all enjoy, and we’d love for you to all spread the word! We hope this is successful, and will allow us to continue to do more for the 20 and under crowd!
One last note. IF you compete in a round, and do not advance and win the preliminary round FOR that category… YES, PLEASE… you may come and compete again! Why not! Maybe you got a song you were not great at, etc. Come on back!
Cover charge is $5, it is NO SMOKING and there will be NO ALCHOHOL served to anyone!

The recent Guitar Hero II tournament held at the Dover Brick House was so much fun. More than expected showed up, so next month it will be held on 2 100″ screens at the same time. Camarojuana rock’d the house to kick off the tournament. If you haven’t seen a live tournament or Camarojuana first hand, your missing out! Cya next month.. This time, I hope to make the finals.

This was definitely a fun tournament. The organizers were nice, the people were cool, and the tournament was run very efficiently. I was the kid who won the February 3rd preliminary, and I can’t wait to see everyone at the finals! Good luck Chris
