This is totally unfair. I am only 14, but I could rip up the competition. Why does it have to be 18 and up? To buy the game you don’t have to be 18. I beat hard so easily. Half the people in the tournament couldn’t match up to me. I hope you respond to my comment. Please tell me what you think.
Thanks,
Brendon

I agree. That is unfair. I’m 15 and bought the game, and I haven’t met anyone who could beat me yet. I mean if you’re going to make it so peopel under 18 can’t compete, atleast make a tournament for people under 18.
Thanks,
Tim

Yea, I am 17 almost 18 and I can compete until July. My Bday is June 28, and I agree, why cant there be an age group of minors?

If you look up Studio 35, then it becomes obvious why you cannot enter. It’s essentially half a bar. Hell, they probably don’t even want people under 21 to enter.

Don’t be so cocky young ones…..It’s not special that you can beat hard easily. “Hard” aint that hard….Im 5 stars across the board on expert. Plus I I can do a handful on god mode (which if you don’t know about it, its a code that makes it so you play without the help of seeing what the notes are.) Im also 27 and a guitarist…
Im sure your good…but just cause noone at your school can beat you doesn’t me you’ll wipe up at a competition.
Just a helpful note….

yeah i’m 11 and already can beat expert level. i think it’s way unfair but, if theres a really good reason it,s for kids 18 and up i respect that but if its possible make it 11 and up.
thanks for listening,

“If you look up Studio 35, then it becomes obvious why you cannot enter. It’s essentially half a bar.” - This has nothing to do with your abilities. It is all about the legal age at which STATE LAW allows minors to be in an establishment that serves alcohol. My advice: Next time, hold the tournament somewhere else…..

@Sephi
Please read what I wrote before you criticize it. I said nothing about abilities and being able to play. It’s more about how bars (sometimes) operate.
There is a difference between state law and bar law. Sometimes places don’t want to bother having to worry about who is legal to drink and who is not inside the establishment. It’s a real pain in the ass and if they screw up they can get fined big time. I look quite young for my age and have been turned away from bars before, even after showing my ID and even though the state law said I could at least go in if I was 19.
There’s also a large probability that the people holding this tournament wanted it to be adults only. There’s a high probability that little kids could irritate older competitors away.

I saw this competition and planned on entering, but being 15 i can’t. I’m pretty good, and havent got beat by anyone i’ve played even at Best Buy. I’m not complaining though, i get the attention i deserve when i play there. Anyways, there are going to be stations where us “not 18 year olds” can play. We can just show off our skills there. It’s ok anyways, i have enough competitions with my friends to have fun.

Ok, I saw this and thought It was unfair to many, so I have this community Center by my house and I’m In the process of asking them about It. I don’t play Guitar Hero well, but I do have friends like Chris who writing Is above me! But I’m gonna ask them about It but I’m thinking I might be turned down due to the power supply the building holds. so any suggestion? Just E-mail me and I’ll get back on here and write some more Information as I go.

It is unfair. I personally suck but a group of my friends{14-17}(i am 14) are amazing they can play some song backwards on expert.(since they merized the songs and have no lives) but still i have to agree with adam the older ppl could probly rape us. I agree with the guy who said they should have a minor contest and I agree wit stphani
