Hey,
Does the tournament require any registration ahead of time? I’ll be driving up from Madras (two hours away) to enter this, I wouldn’t want to get up there and not be able to enter.
Thanks.

Is there any way I can attend? I’m a big Guitar Hero fan but I am only 20 and it seems the Red Room is 21+. Would I have to have a chaperone?

unfortunatly, everybody has to be 21+ to attend, due to the fact that there isn’t an area that alcohol isn’t being served. sorry about that, it would be cool to have as many people as possible.

A series of questions:
Is this on wireless controllers?
Is this GH 1 or 2?
Can we bring our own guitars?
What is the prize? (I am not greedy, just courious).
Thanks!

From the Red Room’s Myspace:
*7:00pm sign up/ register - 8:00pm start.
*$3 register fee gets you signed up to compete and a raffle ticket for drawings throughout the evening.
*competition settings will start at medium and progress to the next dificulty level after each round.
*a round consists of 3 songs (1 picked by each contestant and 1 random)
*players will compete head-to-head, best 2 out of 3 wins.
the winner will move to compete in the primary bracket, the loser will continue to compete in the secondary bracket. both brackets will continue in a head to head elimination until one winner from each bracket compete head to head for 1st and 2nd place.
*if a person is unable to complete a song, they will lose that rounds song. if both contestants are unable to complete the song, the contestant with the higher score will win that song.
*Red Room provides 2 wireless guitars to use, but contestants are allowed to bring their own guitars- as long as they aren’t modified in any way that would effect gameplay. (no corking the bat!)
